WHY KRAV MAGA?
NOT A MARTIAL ART
Krav Maga is specifically crafted for real-life threats like street attacks, muggings, and sexual assaults. It’s not about proving your toughness or competing in a ring; it’s about surviving and getting home safely, regardless of the situation. With no rules or illegal moves, it focuses solely on effective self-defense.

HAND TO HAND COMBAT
Sparring is the most realistic form of training. It demands the use of all your attributes, honing your skills in areas such as distance control, timing, speed, agility, focus, and both cardiovascular and muscle endurance, among others.
In real-life situations, anything can happen. We’ll teach you how to punch, kick, and utilize pressure points. You will learn how to fight both standing up and on the ground—essentially, how to survive.
DEFENCE AGAINST WEAPONS ATTACKS/THREATS (guns, knives, sticks, etc.)
“Why should I even address this issue? I’ll never face an attacker with a knife or gun.”
The reality is that sometimes surrendering isn’t an option. Occasionally, you have no choice but to fight. You might not be able to escape from the weapon. What if the assailant wants to take your children or spouse? What if you’re on a plane with no one else able to fight back? What if you’re the only person strong enough to confront the attacker?
AGAINST CHOKES, GRABS, BEAR-HUGS, TAKE-DOWNS…
Stay aware of your surroundings during combat or a threatening situation to identify additional escape routes, effective attack strategies, and objects that could be used for defense or offense. However, sometimes this may not be possible.
By doing so, you will learn to target highly vulnerable areas of the body such as the eyes, face, neck, throat, groin, knees, solar plexus, ribs, fingers, and feet.
MULTIPLE ATTACKERS
In many martial arts schools, common mistakes occur during training against multiple attackers, often due to a lack of realism. Attackers tend not to behave as they would in real-life scenarios, frequently cooperating with defenders and timing their attacks to suit the defender’s convenience. Additionally, in many training situations, the defender is aware of precisely what the attacker will do and when they will do it.
